Miguel Angel Campos Ojeda holds a BA. In English Language Teaching by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, a Master degree in administration and leadership by Universidad Autonoma del Noreste campus Torreón, Coah. And he is currently studying his PhD in Educational Sciences; he has taken several courses in human development and theology. He has been the head of the language department in Universidad Tecnológica del Norte de Aguascalientes since 2020; before that, he was a faculty member at Universidad Iberoamericana campus Torreón, Coahuila. At Ibero university, he taught TESOL, Psycholinguistics and School management courses. His research interests include neuroelt and microteaching

He holds a PhD in Education. He has worked for over 18 years as a teacher from elementary school up to postgraduate education. Likewise, he has coordinated academic programs at different levels. Also, he has gained teaching experience in international programs in The USA and The U.K. He is a grantee from “Docentes con Causa” in Costa Rica. He holds certifications of ELT and English proficiency. Currently, he is in charge of Aulas Digitales de Inglés at Subdirección de Formación Continua in the state of México

Alejandro Fuentes Bolaños holds a masters in ELT. He works as an English teacher at Normal de Amecameca. He is part of the research group in the same institution. He has been an innovator in using new technologies, social networks and trends as tools for his students’ learning. He has participated as a speaker in different conferences at UNAM, UAEM, RELEN and MEXTESOL. Currently, teacher Alejandro is studying his Phd. in Education with virtual learning environments.

Gabriel Gomez Sánchez

ESL teacher for 18 years ranging from lower elementary to higher education. Has a CPE C2 mastery certificacion by Cambridge.
Has worked for 8 years as an elementary teacher in different private institutions such as IT Campus Guadalajara and the Tecnológico de estudios superiores de Zapopan.
Then managed multilevel classes from elementary, middle school and high school while working at Liceo del Valle and Colegio Once México. Also provided professional level classes at international companies such as Toshiba and Unosquare, Philip Morris international and Omnilife. He participated in a professional formation program for nurses working abroad at Artist. As a teacher in Bilingual schools, he participated in different areas where he has taught biology, music, literature, and investigation and teaching methodologies.
His recent experience includes work as coordinator and program developer for private academies such as Professional English and Smartways and has performed as both an academia leader and language teacher at Escuela Bancaria y Comercial for the last 3 and a half years where he has taught Business English, French and Italian.
Finally, he has also provided formation for English teachers whether from his own staff to external educational institutions.

Laura Leticia González González

Laura González holds a bachelor’s degree on Language Sciences with an emphasis on Bilingual Education, from Facultad de Filosofía y Letras UANL. She concluded a master’s degree on Applied Linguistics at Posgrado de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras as well. During her master’s she conducted a research project that emphasizes the use of technology to enhance students’ oral production when learning a second language.
She has worked as an English teacher for eight years in a row now, both at public and private institutions like TecMilenio and Relaciones Culturales. She is currently working at EDEC Universidad. Laura is a certified by Cambridge with the TKT Modules 1,2 and 3 as well as the CLIL Module, all of them with satisfactory results.
She has participated in different workshops as a speaker, providing techniques for teachers to enhance their students’ oral production. She has also participated in different research programs and has been part of Mextesol Capítulo Nuevo León since 2018.

Melissa Ferrin

Melissa Ferrin
- Has lived and worked in Oaxaca for over 20 years. She has taught EFL to all ages and levels and currently teaches at the Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca. Before coming to Mexico she worked in Ecuador and Japan, She has a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Education (Spanish), a TEFL, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Educational Management from International House London. She’s been active in MEXTESOL at the state and national level for many years.

Luis Albert Fernández
Puebla - Tlaxcala Chapter
After 23 years of experience “Sharing is what I enjoy about teaching…” has become Luis Albert Fernandez’s philosophy. Certified as a Family Educator by the Illinois State in the USA, a Teacher Trainer for different programs (British Council, SEP PRONI, UPAEP).
At the moment Mr. Fernández directs the English coordination for Unidades Básicas UPAEP and he does Speaking Examination for Cambridge CAE exam for IH and The Anglo. He has been an International presenter since 2017. He is also an adviser for EducationUSA Tlaxcala which helps students find a suitable university in the United States.

Roque Frikas
Sinaloa Chapter
Roque Frikas has been teaching English for 26 years. He has traveled to more than 15 countries around the world where he has participated as a professional translator for different universities and companies and as a speaker in several conferences and seminars. He has two academic stays abroad, one at the University of Texas at Austin in the USA and another at Durham University in the UK. He became a teacher trainer and has been mentoring the new generation of teachers for more than 11 years.
He is currently teaching the BA students in ELT at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente in Campus Guasave and Universidad Pedagógica del Estado de Sinaloa in Campus Guasave as well. He is currently the coordinator of the Language Center of Universidad Autónoma de Occidente in Guasave Sinaloa Mexico.

Patricia Lopez
Texcoco Chapter
- Patricia López has been devoted to English Teaching for more than 10 years, and has worked as a coordinator and teacher in the most recognized bilingual schools from Ecatepec and Texcoco areas.
Currently she manages her own Language School, teaching English to kids and adults of all ages and levels.
She is currently developing and researching in her project called ‘Bebé Bilingue’.

ALBERTO MORENO LEMUS

Alberto Moreno Lemus has a Master’s Degree in Education, currently studying a Doctoral Degree in Education with Learning and Knowledge Technologies with Virtual Environments. His English Language Teaching certifications include ICELT and TKT Modules 1, 2, and 3.
He has 17 years of experience in English Language Teaching, having taught all levels of English for Kids and Adults, as well as TOEFL ITP and TKT preparation courses. He has also been responsible of recruiting and training teachers.
Currently, he is working as Academic Coordinator at Centro de Lenguas y Lingüística Aplicada Reynosa (Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas). Before this, he worked at Harmon Hall Reynosa as an English Teacher, Academic Coordinator, and Principal; in addition, he worked as a translator in the manufacturing industry.

Anel May Salazar

Dr. May is a teacher, an educator, administrator, and writer. She was a Coordinator in the National English Program in Basic Education in Yucatan (PRONI- Junior high school level) from 2010 to 2015 and taught English at the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY), Mexico.
She currently teaches English to junior and high school students, she is a professor of master-level classes for at the Escuela Normal Superior de Yucatan where she also chairs several thesis committees and is an Online High School E-Tutor through a program sponsored by the Mexican Department of Education (Prepa en Línea SEP). Dr. May is a dedicated researcher, curriculum reviewer, and writer. She has received national and state awards for her writing and has been recognized as an outstanding educator in Yucatan in 2015.
During the last two years she has worked with Abako Foundation as an Academic Coordinator, in that position she has learned a lot about volunteering, and it has helped her be a better person and professional. She has been impressed by young students in rural communities who desire to study, learn, and be happy despite their circumstances. She thinks working as an English teacher and helping students to get their academic goals is very rewarding.
